Already been done?

Searched around the internet to get an idea of how people have tried to do this using the architecture of the building and also the furniture design. I don't think this will be something I am able to do but really interested to see how other people have brought the outside in. It feels inspiring.
I am, though, slightly worried that what I am going to create will not be as good as what is already out there. This seems to be a problem and makes my project seem a bit pointless...
