Photography

These beautiful images really capture the fresh, simple ambience of the outdoors. The concept of 'clearing your mind' seems to gleam from these images. I want mind design to be as obvious as a photograph would be but without simply using just a photograph as I would never be able to take something quite as outstanding.

Bringing life to the office

Similar to how I envisage a large full wall print though I would change the scale of the image to being more life size as though it was actually in the room. The image could even be pushed onto the ceiling.
The concept of grow your own grass/plants/flowers is becoming more and more interesting to me and it would definitely fit in with the 'touch' part of the sensory range.
Again this is a great example of different textures that can be brought into the office and something I think works really well. Using natural materials is a great way of bringing the outdoors in.
I love these hanging plants. As they are at such a height that they just seem to naturally be part of the room. Would be interesting to think of what else I could hang. This is where the paper crafting could come in. Possibly wildlife or flowers etc. Though health and safety may not approve.

This is What needs me.

Plain word surfaces, very bland colours. Minimal furniture. Although the space is workable it doesn't seem very inspiring.

offices lacking natural light, full of plain colours and without plants. They seem to need a breath of fresh air. A lot of offices seem to have these panel lights which really hurt your eyes. Could be a way of designing a filter to go over them. If the light is bad I could imagine nothing would look good. Something to consider.

Already been done?

Searched around the internet to get an idea of how people have tried to do this using the architecture of the building and also the furniture design. I don't think this will be something I am able to do but really interested to see how other people have brought the outside in. It feels inspiring.
I am, though, slightly worried that what I am going to create will not be as good as what is already out there. This seems to be a problem and makes my project seem a bit pointless...
